Ingredients
- 1 liter water
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 8–10 garlic cloves, peeled
- 1 small piece fresh ginger, sliced
- A handful of fresh mint leaves
- 4–5 cloves (optional)
- Ice cubes (optional)
Instructions
- Wash all ingredients well.
- Add lemon slices, garlic, ginger, mint, and cloves to a large bottle or jug.
- Pour in the water.
- Refrigerate for at least 4–6 hours, preferably overnight.
- Drink chilled throughout the day.
Optional
- Add 1 teaspoon honey for sweetness.
- Sparkling water can be used instead of plain water.
Important Note
Garlic and lemon may support heart health as part of a balanced diet, but they do not dissolve artery plaque in a few days. For blood pressure or cholesterol concerns, medical guidance is important.
