It looks like the image is showing a homemade coffee extract / coffee syrup recipe made by soaking ground coffee in alcohol or hot liquid.

A simple version is:

Ingredients

  • 1 cup roasted coffee beans (or coarse ground coffee)
  • 2 cups hot water or vodka/alcohol (depending on the version)
  • Optional: sugar or honey

Method

  1. Grind the coffee beans coarsely.
  2. Put the grounds in a glass jar.
  3. Pour hot water or alcohol over the coffee until fully covered.
  4. Close the jar and let it sit:
    • 12–24 hours for water extract
    • 1–2 weeks for alcohol extract
  5. Strain through a fine cloth or coffee filter.
  6. Store the dark liquid in a bottle.

Uses

  • Add to iced coffee
  • Desserts
  • Baking
  • Homemade coffee flavoring
