Here’s a simple recipe people traditionally make with it:
Tribulus Tea
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon dried tribulus (or 2 tablespoons fresh, washed well)
- 500 ml water
- 1 teaspoon honey (optional)
- A slice of lemon (optional)
Method
- Rinse the herb carefully (watch the sharp seed pods).
- Bring the water to a boil.
- Add the tribulus.
- Lower heat and simmer for 8–10 minutes.
- Turn off heat and let steep another 5 minutes.
- Strain.
- Add honey or lemon if you like.
How much
- 1 small cup once a day.
Important note
Tribulus can interact with some medicines and may affect blood sugar or blood pressure. Avoid during pregnancy unless a clinician says it’s okay.
If you meant a food recipe using it another way (powder, infusion, etc.), tell me and I’ll write that version too.
