🥔 Crispy Cheesy Potato Patties (Cheese-Stuffed)
Golden on the outside, soft inside, with melted stretchy cheese — perfect as a snack, appetizer, or quick dinner.
🧀 Ingredients
- 3 large potatoes (boiled & mashed)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella or melting cheese
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley
- 1 egg
- 3–4 tbsp flour (or breadcrumbs)
- 2 tbsp grated parmesan (optional)
- Salt & black pepper to taste
- ½ tsp garlic powder (optional)
- Oil or butter for frying
👩🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Prepare the Potato Mixture
- Boil potatoes until soft.
- Mash smoothly while warm.
- Add:
- egg
- flour
- parsley
- salt, pepper, garlic powder
- Mix until a soft dough forms.
2️⃣ Stuff with Cheese
- Take a small portion of potato mixture.
- Flatten in your hand.
- Place cheese in the center.
- Seal and shape into a thick patty.
3️⃣ Fry Until Crispy
- Heat oil or butter in a pan over medium heat.
- Fry patties 3–4 minutes per side.
- Cook until golden brown and crispy.
🔥 Air Fryer Option
- Brush patties lightly with oil
- Air fry at 190°C (375°F) for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway.
