Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup dried ginger
  • 2 handfuls fresh rosemary
  • 2 tbsp black peppercorns
  • 1/2 tbsp cloves
  • 2 cups olive oil or coconut oil

Instructions

  1. Lightly crush the ginger, peppercorns, and cloves.
  2. Add all herbs and spices to a saucepan or double boiler.
  3. Pour in the oil.
  4. Heat on very low for 1–2 hours. Do not boil.
  5. Let cool slightly, then strain through cheesecloth.
  6. Pour into a clean glass jar or bottle.

How to Use

  • Massage a small amount onto sore muscles or joints.
  • Use 1–2 times daily as needed.

Storage

  • Keep in a cool dark place for up to 2–3 months.

Notes

  • Do a patch test first to check skin sensitivity.
  • Avoid applying to broken skin or near eyes.
  • This is a traditional home remedy and not a replacement for medical treatment.
