Ingredients
- 5–7 fresh guava leaves (or 1 tablespoon dried guava leaves)
- 2 cups water
- Optional: a small slice of lemon or a little honey
Instructions
- Wash the guava leaves well.
- Bring 2 cups of water to a boil in a pot.
- Add the guava leaves to the boiling water.
- Let them simmer for 10–15 minutes.
- Turn off the heat and let the tea steep for 5 minutes.
- Strain into a cup.
- Drink warm in the morning, preferably on an empty stomach.
Optional Flavor
- Add a little lemon juice for taste.
- If needed, add ½ teaspoon honey.
